R. S. Kinnaird Memorials is a family owned and operated, full service memorial business.
With the only operating memorial workshop in Frederick County we can assure you
the highest quality workmanship and honest pricing.
LOCATION
R. S. Kinnaird Memorials is located in Thurmont, Maryland. We are one hour north of Washington , one hour west of Baltimore and one hour south of Harrisburg, PA. We work in MD, VA, WV, DC, and PA, however, we are not afraid of traveling and would be glad to discuss work not in these areas.
OUR BUSINESS FAMILY
1930 - 1985
Started the family business in 1963. Master stone mason and third generation stonecarver.
Owner
Son of Robert and Margaret Kinnaird. A fourth generation stoncarver with 38 years of experience in all aspects of the memorial business, including design, lettering, carving, installation, and sales.
Wife of John A. Kinnaird. Karen has 13 years experience in sales and design and is our office and sales manager.
Heather, a fourth generation stonecarver, is the daughter of John and Karen and is a graduate of Catoctin High School. Heather works in sales, bookkeeping, stencil cutting, sandblasting and installation.
